SHILLAWON KOREAN RESTAURANT

Do you like Korean food?
This week, the restaurant I would recommend is
"Shillawon Korean Restaurant."

You surely know Yakinikku,
and people mostly know Yakinikku is Japanese culture.

But, Korea also has many places of Yakinikku,
and a bunch of Koreans love Yakinikku.

This restaurant sells other Korean food
but it is famous for Yakinikku.

These two pictures above are from me.
They gave us many kinds of Korean basic food for rice(?).
They also offered free Korean soup.

Actually, I cannot remember all prices of them.
But, what I chose was about $26; course A.

The price is overall higher than Sikdorak which is another Korean restaurant and has cheap prices.
The quality of Shillawon is better than there.

Enjoy!

HINONE MIZUNONE

This week,
I recommend Japanese Restaurant
named "HINONE MIZUNONE."

Do you know this place?
This place is near Lobster King on South King street.
It is pretty hidden by gas station
and also named with Japanese, actually it is kanji.

Even though this place is hard to be found,
many people go to Hinone Mizunone.

                                Their usual form/plate

The restaurant is Japanese, so they have also Udon plates
and Poke.

They have desserts, too!
I do not have a picture of what I have tried though,
it was Lychee sorbet (?)/ ice-cream!
It was so good :)

I really hope you guys to go to this place!

YARD HOUSE

This week, I will post about "Yard House."

This place actually accepts people over 21 (or over 20)
because they serve drink
I just want to let you know it.

                                                                      Inside

Their food is really American style,
not Japanese or something like other countries.

Their food is pretty good.

They also have two kinds of Happy Hour.
One of them is Regular Happy Hour,
and another one is Late Night Happy Hour.

Regular Happy Hour is 2:00-5:30 on Mon.-Fri.
Late Night Happy Hour is 10:00-Close on Sun.-Wed.

TONY ROMA'S

"Tony Roma's"

American people usually enjoy steak.
This restaurant also deals with STEAK or RIBS

This place is quite busy and crowded with people,
the people are mostly tourists though.

Plate with Ribs

Actually, I have tried "Spinach Chicken something..."
I cannot remember the exact name..
Anyway, it was also good.

I have got other two pictures of food,
but I could not use them....So sad...

CHEESEBURGER WAIKIKI

"Cheeseburger Waikiki"

Have you ever heard "Cheeseburger Waikiki?"
This place's burger is a kind of big
I usually order one of their burgers with fries.

Unfortunately, you have to pay for the fries if you want.
However, its taste is good!
Thus, I recommend this restaurant.

                                         Front Image

                                                           Inside Image

These pictures are from Yelp.
This place actually has TWO entrances and can be also exits.

The restaurant inside is dark with a little small bright lights.
If you do prefer to have bright spot, they have terraces as well.

Actually, I can't remember the exact name of this food.
If I can, it is "California Cheeseburger!"

You can see the inside of the burger;
it is composed of Avocado, Pineapple, Cheese, Patty, and Lettuce.

Try some!
They serve a small half pineapple piece as well!
I think it makes digest good.

It is located in the entrance of Waikiki!
If you know "Hawaiian Monarch," it is near it.

PHUKET THAI

This week I recommend
"Phuket Thai" restaurant.

You guys must have heard this restaurant name at least once before!
This is located at McCully Shopping center.

                                      Front Image

This one above is "Green Curry."
I really prefer to eat brown rice, so it comes with brown rice.
I mean you can choose what kind of rice you want;
the choices are white rice, brown rice, and steamed rice.
This food was not really salty.
It was good if it was together with the rice.

I love "Green Curry" here.

"Crispy Chicken"

The white rice next to the chicken is "Steamed Rice."
The taste is good as well.
The chicken was salty to me, but it was fine if it was together with the rice, as well.

The prices are not so cheap, a kind of expensive, I guess.
However, if you sometimes want to go there, then it would be good.

ICHIRIKI

I would like to recommend
"ICHIRIKI
Japanese Nabe Restaurant."

This place is not a place where I usually go.
On last Sunday, I have visited here; it was first time.

                                                                    Front

                                                                     Inside

The interior is really Japanese.
This restaurant has a few of this kind of room shown by the picture above.

Their main food is Shabu Shabu.
So, they serve plates with some vegetables, shrimp, salmon, chicken, and so on.

I ordered the most popular plate.
They may serve a lot; the amount looked big on the plate, however, it was not enough for me.
Also, you can choose one last food (?), or it could be called a finisher;
the options are Zosui, Udon, and Ramen.
I chose Zosui, which is rice with special(?) broth, an egg, and seaweed.

The taste was not special.
But, the meat was good
